Care and Support provide a holistic and integrated service for adults aged 18 and over, working closely with partner agencies such as drug and alcohol services, mental health practitioners, health professionals, housing services, the police, and children's social care to ensure coordinated and effective support.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide an integrated service to adults aged 18 and over.
- Manage your own caseload while receiving regular supervision and consistent guidance from Advanced Social Work Practitioners and your Team Manager.
- Ensure a clear understanding of the Care Act and the Local Authority's statutory duties.
- Enthusiastic, qualified Social Workers with a commitment to continuous development.
- Degree in Social Work & registered with Social Work England.
- Successfully completed the UK Skills for Care ASYE programme.
- Valid UK driving licence and ability to use a car for work purposes.
- Post‑qualification experience or successful completion of the ASYE Programme (for experienced Social Workers).
- The Adult Social Care training team offers a wide range of career development opportunities, including specialist workshops, structured pathways, and accredited training such as Accepted Mental Health Professional and Practice Educator qualifications.
