Job Summary

You will assist in the inspection, acceptance, and/or rejection of work performed in a particular discipline in compliance with applicable codes and/or specifications as dictated by quality programs and contract documents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist material handling personnel with required material storage and preventive maintenance requirements.
- Communicate inspection results and recommend corrective procedures.
- Support the company’s strategic planning efforts.
- Prepare Quality Control Integrated Test Plan (ITP).
- Perform control measuring and equipment tests.
- Verify installation of systems, components, and equipment in accordance with the assigned discipline.
Structural Inspection:
Experience with structural steel erection; must work in elevated areas; knowledge of AISC, AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6 codes; bolt‑up inspection, bolt lot verifications using Skidmore‑Wilhelm; architectural, insulation and lagging, grout and concrete placement, epoxy anchor installation inspection; must hold CWI certification.
Electrical and Instrumentation Inspection:
Experience installation of electrical and instrumentation components, including interconnecting wiring, cables, and tubing; knowledge of ICEA, IEEE, ISA, NEC, NEMA, NESC, NFPA codes.
Mechanical Inspection:
Experience setting and aligning static and rotating equipment, equipment skids, coolers, tanks, interconnecting process piping; use of micrometers, calipers, transits, dial indicators, laser alignment devices.
Piping Inspection:
Experience in pipe installation inspection, welding, supports, instrumentation; must hold CWI certification.
Job Requirements
- 1+ year construction practices.
- 1+ year in quality control inspection discipline.
- High School Diploma required.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
- Reach above shoulder height and below waist frequently.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, bending.
- Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices occasionally.
- Comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- Occasionally climb stairs, ladders, etc.
- Use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects frequently.
- Interact with people frequently during shift/workday.
- Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects.
- Sit, stand or walk short distances for up to entire shift/workday.
