Sr. Automation Architect Job Responsibilities
- Provides technology leadership for front end and back-end test automation capabilities.
- Define and implement strategy, framework/tooling and best practices.
- Evaluate various open source and/or out of the box tools for web and mobile test automation.
- Participate in Dev Ops and CI/CD solutioning and implementation.
- Understands various back-end and front-end architecture components required to guide teams in formulating test strategies
- Collaborates with scrum team/s in ensuring that automation standards and solutions are in place.
- Participates in project/module-level design and architectural reviews where necessary.
- Trains and mentors QE Team Members on best practices/processes.
- Performs code reviews.
- Ensures that automation strategy meets both IT and Business goals.
- Collaborates with automation architects in continuously strategizing, researching and implementing technical solutions and tooling/proprietary software for the quality teams.
- 7+ years of experience in effectively orchestrating automation framework design and implementation for web and/or mobile applications
- Hands on experience in JavaScript and Type Script programming languages
- UI & API Automation framework experience using Cypress for web and Webdriver
IO for mobile. - Experience in Gitbased source control tools like Git Lab, Git Hub, Bitbucket and build tools like Maven and Gradle
- Knowledge of SQL and Database/backend testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.
- Solid experience in testing methodologies, software testing principles and test management tools like Jira or Rally
- Healthcare domain knowledge
- Web and Mobile Automation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid analytical skills, highly organized, self-motivated and a quick learner
- Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Engineering or related coursework
