Bartender - Roots Ocean Prime

We are currently seeking experienced Bartenders to join our OPENING TEAM at Roots Ocean Prime DARIEN! We are looking for friendly, energetic, highly motivated bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Expected pay is in the range of approximately $36 - $45 per hour inclusive of tips.

• To exceed our guests’s exceptions by providing them with the highest level of consistent, professional and courteous service.
• To promote teamwork within the restaurant creating a positive work environment.
• To properly execute all necessary steps of service.
• Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and organization at all times.
• Provide exemplary customer service to all guests by applying knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Reporting on time and in proper uniform, always clocking in and out as required of all employees.
• To respond positively to guests requests.
• Preparing and Serving Drinks:
  This includes crafting cocktails, pouring beers and wines, and ensuring drinks are made according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Cash Handling:
  Managing transactions, processing payments, and balancing the cash register.
• Maintaining the Bar:
  Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked. This includes cleaning glassware, restocking supplies, and ensuring the bar is presentable.

• Proficient in all aspects of fine dining service.
• Proficient in cocktails, spirits, wine and beer
• Knowledge of food and beverage, as well as having a passion to cultivate these skills.
• Display a confident and professional appearance.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 6-8 hours per shift, all the while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.
• Must be able to carry about 40lbs.
