Urgent Care Physician & Medical Director | No Call | FTE | Lead & Impact Care

Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers has an immediate opportunity for a BE/BC Physician to serve as an Urgent Care Medical Director (0.8 FTE) supporting our three Urgent Care Centers in Morris, Diamond, and Channahon.

This is a blended clinical + leadership role, ideal for a physician who enjoys both patient care and serving as a collaborative partner and clinical resource to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

• 0.6–0.7 FTE clinical care
• 0.1–0.2 FTE Medical Director responsibilities
• Total: 0.8 FTE

• No Overnight Obligations: Hours are 8 am–8 pm (Mon–Fri) and 8 am–4 pm (Sat–Sun)
• Every-Other-Weekend Rotation
• Consistent Scheduling: Predictable 4-week schedule
• Advanced Scheduling: Managed through Sling App, with visibility months (even years) in advance
• Generous Time Off: 4 weeks PTO plus additional CME time
• Major Holidays Off: Closed on Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Thanksgiving
