Supervisor Mechanical Maintenance - Morris, IL

Location: Morris, IL

This position is a supervisory role in mechanical maintenance for Constellation’s Clean Energy Center, focused on ensuring productive and compliant operations.

• Effectively supervise craft personnel, ensuring all maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with CEC procedures, NRC regulations, and the CEC schedule.
• Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management, including disciplinary action, for assigned employees.
• Communicate significant CEC and personnel issues to Maintenance Manager and appropriate levels of CEC management.
• Ensure effective communication of company programs, announcements, policies, and employee feedback.
• Participate in work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings related to online and refuel outage activities.
• Administer maintenance processes such as training, surveillance, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program (CAP).
• Supervise vendor inspections and repairs of CEC equipment, ensuring procurement and use of materials, parts, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in Maintenance Department management to support safe and efficient operation, including development and monitoring of business goals.
• Perform other job assignments as directed, including emergency response and departmental coverage.

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years of related experience, OR
• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline with 4 years of related experience, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 2 years of related experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, where applicable.
• Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.

• Fluent use of electronic work management system, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations.

$127,800 – $142,000
