Forklift Operator Warehouse

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Forklift Operator in Morris, Illinois.

• Hourly Pay: $21.75 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Wednesday – Saturday
• Shift: 5:30 am – 4:00 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team player; able to work in a diverse work environment
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• High initiative and accuracy even under pressure
• Capable of lifting or pushing/pulling up to 35 lbs
• Can stand for long periods and work health‑safety wise
• Flexible schedule across various shifts
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and tote‑induce products; stage for trucks; load and unload trucks
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour of production
• Perform additional duties as assigned
