Forklift Operator

Permanent Full Time position at Ryder in Morris, Illinois.

Pay:
Hourly $21.75 with weekly schedule Sunday - Wednesday 5:30 am – 4:00 pm.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle daily paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and with a good attendance record.
• Can perform work independently with minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative.
• Demonstrates accuracy even under pressure.
• Physical ability: lift/push/pull up to 35 lb, stand for long periods.
• Adheres to health and safety methods and flexible on schedule.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
