Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Forklift Operators in Morris, Illinois.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly.

• Hourly Pay: $21.75 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour for night shift and up to $2.75 per hour more for earned incentives
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday/Monday and Thursday/Friday (Split Schedule) 5:00 pm – 3:30 am

We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply‑chain environment with state‑of‑the‑art equipment. Products handled: food products. Equipment: sit‑down forklift.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Must be punctual with a good attendance record
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• Possesses a high degree of initiative
• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induct, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
