OverviewKNM has been engaged to identify a public or public/private accountant for an Accounting Manager opening with our Morristown client. 7-10 years of accounting experience preferred. For more opportunities from KNM Resources, please visit
Responsibilities- Oversee the accounting team and all related month end close activities
- Manage the close process
- Continue review and improvement of accounting processes.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls requirements.
- Serve as the main contact for internal and external audits.
- Serve as point person for the annual budget.
- Analyze and report on financial results.
- Partner with business units to provide accounting guidance.
- Assist with special projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA or parts passed preferred
- 7-10 years of accounting experience
- Public accounting a plus
- Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Understanding of Lease Accoutning
- Proficient in Excel
- Mid‑Senior level
- Full-time
