Our Federal Tax team provides specialized tax consulting and compliance for pass‑through entities. As a Senior Associate, you will manage day‑to‑day client service relationships and serve as the gateway to other tailored tax services.

• Assist with the tax compliance process by reviewing partners’ estimates, extensions and annual compliance filings for pass‑through entities
• Independently conduct research and analysis of a wide variety of tax issues
• Participate in tax‑planning and consulting projects for pass‑through clients
• Assist with special projects in technical areas such as tax basis balance sheets, capital account maintenance, tax distribution calculations, and structuring opportunities
• Attend client calls to understand critical areas of importance and apply tax technical knowledge to specific client situations
• Create deliverables that are concise, complete and address the elements deemed critical by the client
• Mentor Associates by delegating tasks and ensuring efficient completion
• Develop others by sharing proven techniques, best practices and procedures
• Value diversity of perspectives and create opportunities for individuals to feel comfortable contributing
• Build client relationships and demonstrate a working knowledge of client businesses; take on additional responsibility quickly
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients through business development
• Assist with building the firm’s client portfolio by creating proposal materials such as pitch decks
• Build internal relationships with other members of the Federal Tax team and the greater A&M firm

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of relevant experience with partnerships and compliance
• CPA (or in the process of pursuing)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulating complex information clearly and concisely
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (emphasis on Excel)
• Experience with GoSystems, One Source and research software preferred
• Ability to work on multiple projects, manage teams and deadlines
• High motivation to learn and grow
• Detail‑oriented and strong organizational skills

Salary range: $85,000 – $105,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus based on performance.
