Staff Accountant
Location:
Morristown NJ
Salary: to $75K plus bonus
Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant with corporate accounting experience. Exposure to ASC
842 a plus.
- Perform general ledger month end close including review of related accounts, and identifying and preparing journal entries and posting updates in the accounting system
- Review contracts to identify leases and summarize key terms; enter new leases into the system
- Partner with internal stakeholder to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Perform monthly account reconciliations to the G/L
- Prepare monthly/quarterly schedules in accordance with GAAP
- Record amortization and depreciation
- Assist with some special projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 2 years of experience in general accounting
- Net Suite experience a plus
