Accounting/Auditing & Finance;
Industry: Accounting

• Serve as the outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple non‑profit clients, transforming their financial departments to meet mission goals.
• Prepare financial reporting for management and board decision‑making and presentations.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures.
• Handle transactional activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable (revenue recognition and billing), payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month‑end close, and maintaining work papers.
• Perform analysis and data visualization, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage grant administration, allocations, and funder reporting.
• Assist in and manage the annual audit process.
• Provide training opportunities for clients and staff.

• Passionate about working in or supporting non‑profit organizations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5–7+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience working in a remote environment preferred.
• Strong leadership skills—ability to manage and lead multiple clients, work independently, and respond promptly.
• Demonstrated Microsoft Excel expertise.
• Experience with multiple GL packages, especially Quick Books, and electronic bill‑pay systems.
• Non‑profit accounting, public accounting, or consulting experience is a plus.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

• Competitive hourly rate: $50–$65 per hour for this non‑exempt position, with potential overtime and bonus opportunities.
