What you will do:

• Allocation of costs for internal profit center results, parent company IFRS 17 reporting and external statutory reporting
• Operating expense projections for corporate annual plan and interim forecasts
• Fixed asset accounting related to furniture and equipment, leasehold improvements, owned buildings and capitalization of computer system development
• IFRS 16 lease accounting and reporting
• Prepare assigned components of external reports including Fairfax quarterly templates, statutory annual statements and U.S. Department of Commerce filings
• Preparation and input of general ledger journal entries for monthly expense close
• Intercompany cost allocations, accounting entries and billings
• Support annual corporate insurance renewal process and interim requests
• General ledger account analysis and reconciliations
• Document all management accounting procedures and controls including accounts payable, budget performance, cost allocation, fixed assets, expense closings and external reporting
• Special projects

What you will bring to C&F:

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent
• Recent graduate or up to two years related work experience preferred
• Excellent analysis, communication and presentation ability, including verbal and written
• Strong technology aptitude, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills. AI knowledge also a plus
• Ability to meet tight deadlines on a monthly basis
