Job Title: Senior Strategic Procurement Consultant

Location: Cambridge MA / Morristown NJ

Duration: 3 months (High possibility of extension)

Pay Rate: $70-79/hr on W-2

• This position will help Global Procurement deliver strategic work.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement/sourcing, preferably in pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Consultants from Top tier consultation firms preferred. Onsite in either:
  Cambridge/MA or Morristown/NJ

Position Title:

Senior Strategic Procurement Consultant (3 month contract, can be extended if needed)

Role

Purpose:

Support External Manufacturing Procurement team with strategic negotiations, project management, sourcing optimization initiatives, and capability building.

• Lead strategic negotiations for high-priority contracts including Fuji contract, Project Fusion, Inventory Workshop lead and Xenpozyme negotiations
• Develop and execute label and packaging strategy for external manufacturing
• Project management of concurrent strategic initiatives - Develop and manage negotiation dashboards and tracking tools
• Support Ways of Working (WoW) optimization initiatives
• Identify and analyze sourcing opportunities
• Provide expert advisory on procurement best practices and industry benchmarks

• Education:
  
  BSc or MSc/MBA preferred;
  Excellent management experience.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement/sourcing, preferably in pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Biotech preferred.
• Consultants from Top tier consultation firms preferred
• Proven track record in complex contract negotiations
• Strong expertise in external manufacturing and CDMO relationships
• Demonstrated capability in training and team development
• Advanced project management capabilities
• Experience with procurement transformation initiatives
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Strategic negotiation outcomes for assigned contracts
