Construction Manager - Water/Wastewater

Base pay range: $170,500 - $250,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of onsite support personnel and subcontractors.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, coordination of work, reporting, and lead on‑site meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client and ensure delivery within contracted scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversee all aspects of water construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring quality of engineering work and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior staff and collaborate with Client Account Managers and Operations teams.
  • Advance long‑term relationships with water clients in the NY metro area and support proposal and presentation activities.
Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in NY.
  • OSHA 30‑hour training.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or 20+ years of experience managing construction projects.
  • Experience managing water and wastewater construction projects.
  • Ability to work onsite full time in the New York City area.
  • Proficiency with computer applications (Word, Excel, construction‑related programs).
  • Established relationships with NYCDEP and NYC DDC.
  • Physical ability to move around an active construction site.
Preferred Additional Credentials
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) registration.
  • Excellent team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Keen eye for quality control during inspections and subcontractor oversight.
  • Highly effective written communication skills, documenting daily activities and reporting site issues.
  • Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders, sites, and subcontractors.
