Opportunity Overview
We’re looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities.
Base Pay Range$95,200.00/yr - $/yr
ResponsibilitiesYou’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll also provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
As part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team, you’ll help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities. Your responsibilities will include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, documenting and modeling design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas
- Display ability to learn quickly and drive to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings and construction
- Experience mentoring junior professionals or leading small teams
- Experience with Data Center Design
