Position Title: Field Service Engineer

Reports to: Head of Service Operations-Americas
FT/PT: Full-time
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our growing field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site evaluation, maintenance, and repair services initially for our Upright CT and Patient Positioning devices, and other products as Leo Cancer Care brings them to market. You will work closely with our customers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of their equipment, while also identifying opportunities for product improvements and service enhancements.
Keyresponsibilities
- Advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair needs on all Leo Cancer Care products.
- Interface with key customer contacts on equipment issues. Acts to ensure satisfaction to primary customers. Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow‑up, leading to customer satisfaction.
- Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service reports and internal service records promptly.
- Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.
- Identify Sales opportunities and communicate with the sales team, and assist in the growth and direction of business in your geographic area.
- Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost‑effective service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.
- Responsible for Warranty and Service Agreement cost control.
- Administration:
Responsibly completes all administration tasks on time. Ensures timely completion of Field Change Orders (FCOs) and Planned Maintenance (PM) inspections documentation for assigned accounts. - Teach and assist other Field Engineers on advanced and complex troubleshooting and technical fixes, and play a leading role in complex and multifunctional system fixes.
- Installation:
Plays a leading role in complex and multifunctional rooms.
- Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline (Electronics, Mechatronics, Software, etc.) preferred, Associate’s degree, technical/vocational training, military experience with electronics, or relevant domain experience.
- A good understanding of service operation.
- Good external customer‑facing skills.
- Proven experience maintaining complex electro‑mechanical systems.
- Experience with medical devices such as Linear and Proton accelerators, MRI, CT or similar modalities an advantage.
- An effective team player, able to use expert knowledge to influence and provide guidance to the business.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent trouble‑shooting skills.
- Willing to work regular and non‑normal hours as required to support customers.
- Comfortable working collaboratively and autonomously as required.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience working with Salesforce is beneficial.
- A valid driving licence is required.
- Able to travel internationally.
