Base pay range$98,000.00/yr - $/yr
SummaryJoin a fast-paced engineering environment focused on the development and optimization of manufacturing processes within the aerospace industry. This position supports the end-to-end production cycle—offering exposure to testing, tooling, and continuous improvement. Ideal for an engineer ready to apply their technical expertise across multidisciplinary teams, including design, production, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities- Develop and refine manufacturing processes, including production cell layouts, work instructions, and build documentation.
- Coordinate procurement and implementation of tools, fixtures, and equipment to support manufacturing.
- Establish and maintain efficient production standards for all product lines, including repair and overhaul services.
- Provide support in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical failures.
- Evaluate product designs for manufacturability; initiate and manage engineering changes as needed.
- Observe and assess final unit tests to validate product performance and test procedure accuracy.
- Create manufacturing bills of material based on engineering specifications.
- Lead or participate in performance testing such as vibration, thermal, environmental, and operational cycle validation.
- Generate test plans and comprehensive test reports.
- Conduct internal audits across various departments to support compliance and quality improvement efforts.
- Continuously seek improvements in design and production efficiency.
- Fulfill other engineering duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role; candidates with relevant internships or co‑op experience will also be considered.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Creo) and knowledge of GD&T standards.
- Hands‑on problem‑solving skills and comfort working in a high‑energy, production‑oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technicians, machinists, suppliers, and customers.
- Understanding of machining processes, materials, and component manufacturing.
- Familiarity with electronic systems and circuitry.
- Knowledge of electric and hydraulic motors, valves, and test equipment.
- Experience in aerospace or defense industries.
- Awareness of aerospace standards including AS9100 and auditing processes.
- Exposure to FAA/EASA certifications is a plus.
