Your impactTRB ATTENDEES
- Rail and Transit Multimodal facilities, automated guideways, paratransit systems, bus facilities and depots, aerial, at‑grade, and underground stations, elevated structures, tunnels, and line structures.
- Bridges and Tunnels Comprehensive design, construction management, and inspection services.
- Highways and Roads Expertise in planning, design, and maintenance.
- Aviation Services related to airport infrastructure and operations.
- Ports and Marine time Port planning, capital projects, maintenance, container terminals, intermodal integration, jetties, quays, and coastal defense schemes.
The planners on our team work on a variety of tasks, from asset and fleet management plans to multi‑modal corridor planning, helping agencies improve service plans, operations, and infrastructure. We’re looking for team members to help us deliver a range of statewide and multi‑modal transportation planning projects. You’ll assist in the preparation of planning studies, alternative analyses, impact assessments and technical reports.
The candidate will work under the direction of a project manager or senior planner.
The engineers on our team will be involved in a wide range of challenging projects across our transportation sectors. You’ll be accountable for various engineering design tasks and will support our Project Management team. Potential responsibilities may include conducting site investigations, performing engineering calculations, developing design drawings using CAD software, assisting in the preparation of technical specifications, and contributing to environmental impact assessments.
You might work on tasks such as roadway alignment design, traffic signal timing, bridge structural analysis, or transit system capacity studies. what you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Transportation/Urban Planning, or related engineering fields
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within a year of hire
- Familiarity with CADD/Design software (preferably AutoCAD/Micro Station/Open Roads/Geopak)
- Strong self‑motivation, problem‑solving, and team‑oriented work practices with excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and multitasking ability
- Authorization to work within the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
