The Supervising Senior Auditor supervises auditors and audit projects for Bank Strategy, Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Wealth Management, and Human Resources. Topics include stress testing, liquidity risk, and resolution planning. The role

Fred stand as charge in all audit activities—including planning, designing test steps, conducting the audit, providing value‑added recommendations, and managing relationships between Audit and its clients.

• Organizes and effectively plans for assigned areas in the development of the audit scope, including those for assigned team members.
• Plans and executes effectively ensuring quality work and timely completion.
• Assists in the development of audit test steps.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to provide value‑added recommendations to the client.
• Prepares the draft audit report with assistance from the Audit Manager.
• Evaluates management's responses for
  355accountability and adequacy.
• Adequately performs work‑paper review for assigned staff when needed.
• Identifies root causes and recommends acceptable remediation plans when needed.
• Prepares risk assessments as assigned for areas previously audited.
• Builds relationships outside the department, promoting a positive image of Internal Audit.
• Stays current on emerging risks related to areas of responsibility.

• Strong internal or external audit experience, preferably in banking, risk management and compliance.
• Good ability to identify risks.
• Good knowledge of applicable industries.
• Applies audit and industry knowledge to assignments.
• Experience with data analytics变and applying them to conduct test work and build continuous auditing.
• Properly completes work‑paper content in accordance with IIA and Valley IA audit standards.
• Demonstrates reliability and dependability.

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Accounting, MIS or Finance and a minimum of 5 years’ audit experience, preferably in banking, risk management, and compliance.
• Strong PC skills (MS Office).
• CIA, CAMS, CRCM, CRMA or other relevant certification is strongly preferred.
