Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000 annually plus bonus

The mission of the Vice President is to be an experienced contributor of the Investment function of the organization, working closely with the CIO and the broader Investment team to expand and enhance our market and macro research and investment sourcing and diligence processes. The primary role of this individual would be the coverage analyst for prospective and existing fund investments, and secondarily a contributor to broader market and economic research and analysis that can help inform asset allocation and investment priorities.

Strong preference for individuals with demonstratable experience sourcing, evaluating, and investing with Private Equity and Private Asset managers. This is a highly visible role across the organization and with clients.

• Independently source, screen, and diligence investment opportunities across asset types and strategies. Present recommendation and supporting work product to Investment Team and Investment Committee. If approved, be able to present the opportunity to Advisors and Clients
• We have a generalist investment focus. The ideal candidate should be fluent across investment strategies and asset classes with a strong proficiency and network in the buy-out, growth, and venture space.
• Oversight and management of covered investments:
  Respond to advisor and client questions on investments and market relevance, supported through maintaining communication and related portfolio data capture and analysis, in addition to operational review.
• Ability to assess broader economic and market trends that influence the investment landscape and opportunity set. Be a contributing member of the team to provide thoughtful insights that can influence the investment activity of the team and content support for the Investment Committee and advisors.
• Deliver assessments and recommendations of all of the above via written documentation and presentations.

• While this is a generalist investment position, we are looking to enhance our private investment capabilities across buy-out, growth, and venture strategies, primarily in fund diligence, and secondarily in co‑investment opportunities.
• Investment Oversight:
  Senior coverage analyst on managers across asset types and investment vehicles, maintains active communication and monitors key investment and business elements.
  • Builds and maintains return and portfolio exposure models.
  • Documents meetings and relevant correspondence with managers.
  • Actively monitors and disseminates performance and related market news of covered managers and relevant strategies.
