Intake Coordinator – Infusion Therapy

In This Role, You Will- Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process, including authorizations, financial counseling, and benefit investigation.
- Liaise with referring providers to obtain necessary documentation and communicate status.
- Communicate the referral process and status to patients with a customer‑centric approach.
- Maintain medical inventory and office supplies.
- Participate in a 6‑week training program to succeed in your role.
- Passion for patient care and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Health care experience required; prior infusion experience preferred.
- Insurance pre‑authorization experience.
- Strong medical terminology knowledge and overall medical insurance experience.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and ability to quickly learn new apps.
- Effective communication with providers and patients.
- Salary starting at $25/hr.
