Join Atlantic Health as a Certified Medical Assistant I in Morristown, NJ. This role is part of the AMG Primary Care team and focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care.

$20.05/hr - $33.11/hr

Responsible for providing general direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting under the direct supervision of a physician. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure functionality of practice operations and smooth medical facility operation in clerical, administrative, or clinical roles.

• Handles patient intake, updates medical records, and administers appropriate screening tools.
• Records medical information and test results, conducts patient interviews, takes and records vital signs, collects specimens, and administers medication under physician supervision.
• Assists with walk‑in and scheduled clinic visits, ensuring verification and recording of clinical data and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitors environment for compliance with accreditation readiness and evaluates practice schedule for changes or updates.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the certified medical assistant scope of practice, incorporating holistic patient‑centered and team‑based care.
• Guides patients through the health care system and helps patients arrive at scheduled appointments on time.
• Provides emotional support related to the patient’s clinical situation in accordance with the patient’s plan of care.
• Assists with referrals of patients to the appropriate specialist for diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program.

• Associate’s degree in Medical Care or related field.
• 1 year of experience in health‑care services.
