Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography Program or Radiologic Technology School

• Active New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License

• ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) – required for all healthcare professionals
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional radiology guidelines

• Operate and maintain a variety of imaging equipment, ensuring proper setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and care

• Assess and maintain equipment safety, procedure protocols, and patient comfort throughout all imaging processes

• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures, including any necessary revisions

• Ensure the physical and physiological comfort of patients during radiologic exams
