• Accesses, labels, and processes laboratory specimens.
• Loads specimens on lab analyzers and equipment.
• Performs patient registrations and orders lab tests in computer.
• Produces lab reports, sorts, and delivers.
• Exercises independent judgement on moderately to substantially complex cases.
• Requires little instruction on day to day work and general direction on more complex tasks and projects.
• Mentors staff on technical skills.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in Medical Technology, Biology or related field preferred.
• Proven experience of at least two years working in a lab environment highly preferred
• Medical terminology experience
• Experience in performing healthcare patient registration
