POST-DOCTORAL PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY FELLOWSHIP – Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, has over 40 years of expertise in offering innovative Post-Doctoral Pharm.
D. Fellowships that provide extensive training in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. This 2-year Fellowship position is a joint effort between the Rutgers Institute for Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships (RPIF) and Sanofi. Program emphasis is in US Medical Affairs-Transplant. This 2-year Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to develop a next-generation, cross-functional Medical Affairs professional by advancing their transferable skillset to support long-term career success—particularly in field-based roles that align with medical strategy and tactical plans across matrix teams.
The Fellow will serve as a core member of the Medical Team, working directly with leadership, engaging in field activities, and rotating through or collaborating with other functional areas such as Scientific Communications, Publications, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), and Real-World Evidence (RWE) to enrich their experience. The Fellow will gain experience engaging thought leaders in scientific discussion during field-based activities with Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), attain MSL certification, execute the development and planning of National and International Congresses and Advisory Board meetings with top-tier Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), in addition to field-related initiatives, facilitate discussion and identification of insights from the field and various matrix teams to determine unmet medical needs and competitive intelligence insights to inform medical strategy.
University-based experiences complement the industry experiences and include a Professional Development Series; opportunities for collaborative research, publication, and teaching; and participating/leading Rutgers Fellowship committees. These Fellowships provide a broad professional development opportunity in both corporate and academic environments to promote the role of Pharm.
