American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 1-3 years of experience for a night shift position requiring ARRT certification and NJ state RT license (if applicable).
Details- Hospital-based Radiology department setting
- Night shift schedule, 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating 7-week schedule
- 3 shifts per week, approximately 39 hours
- No call required
- Potential to float to a nearby sister hospital
- Uses EPIC for charting
- 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography school
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- NJ State RT license required if applicable
- Demonstrated knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
- Maintain imaging equipment and assess patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Coordinate daily imaging procedures and monitor the need for procedure revisions
- Stay current on trends and advances in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and imaging technology
