Base Pay Range$55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
Chelsea Hospitality is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Catering Coordinator to oversee all workplace catering orders. This role will manage day‑to‑day catering operations, coordinate with clients and ensure seamless execution of events in the workplace. The point person for "day of" workplace catering.

Requirements What We Expect From You Direct Supervision- This role directly supervises catering employees, ensuring all daily setups are executed in accordance with each BEO. The Catering Coordinator will work cross‑functionally across the catering team, kitchen staff, and hospitality leads to make sure all BEOs and events are executed seamlessly.
- No hiring/firing authority. Recommendations may be made regarding staffing needs, but final decisions remain with leadership.
- Manage & process catering orders; serve as primary point of contact for day of catering, organize catering team accordingly – 30%
- Coordinate logistics with kitchen, vendors, and delivery teams – 20%
- Oversee setup/breakdown of events and ensure quality standards – 10%
- Handle client inquiries, quotes, and proposals – 20%
- Maintain records of orders, billing, communications – 10%
- Prep all daily catering signage – 10%
- Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace catering and internal building events
- Manage and process catering orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Coordinate logistics with kitchen staff, vendors, and delivery teams
- Schedule, organize, and oversee setup and breakdown for workplace meetings, luncheons, and special events
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of catering menus, pricing, and event packages
- Monitor inventory of catering supplies and manage replenishment as needed
- Ensure events meet quality, presentation, and customer service standards
- Handle client inquiries, provide quotes, and create proposals when needed
- Maintain accurate records of orders, billing, and client communications
- 2+ years of catering coordination, event planning, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client and vendor relations
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with kitchen, FOH, and vendors
- Proficiency with ordering/scheduling platforms including Microsoft Office/Catertrax
- Calm and collected when encountering multiple last‑minute requests at a time
