The Assistant Director of Events and Event Services manages overall Event Sales and Event Planning standards, supervising Event Managers and administrative staff, and supporting Event Services & Setup teams. The role focuses on selling and servicing events, setting quarterly goals and targets, and ensuring high standards of service across banquet food & beverage, menu planning, agenda setting, and contract review.

• Manage overall Event Sales and Event Planning standards
• Supervise Event Managers and administrative staff
• Sell and service events, including banquet food & beverage, menu planning, and agenda setting
• Review contracts and facilitate communication before, during, and after events
• Host hotel tours and maintain strong customer relationships
• Participate in and lead event meetings and staff meetings
• Support the Event Services & Setup management team
• Achieve quarterly sales goals and targets

$64,000 - $96,000 annually

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in general computer knowledge
• Minimum of 5 years in Hotel Event Sales and/or Event Planning
• CMP Certified preferred
• Completed Hyatt Meeting Masters or equivalent preferred
• Completed Hyatt Sales training to include PSS and PSN or equivalent preferred
• Geographically mobile
