Sr Technical Writer

Pay Rate: $21.14/hr

2 MONTH CONTRACT WITH THE POSSIBILITY TO EXTEND BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND NEED

This is a 2-month contract-only assignment. The duration may be extended as needed to complete the project.

The role involves writing a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and manuals for documentation purposes. Responsibilities may include coordinating graphics display and document production. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4-6 years of experience are preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. The candidate should be familiar with the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, and rely on limited experience and judgment to accomplish goals.

The role may involve leading and directing others and reports to a manager or department head. Creativity and latitude are expected.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with NIST and DFARS documentation, understanding of IT and IT Security, and experience with government terminology.
