This role is part of the Master Data Management team, which is responsible for supporting MDM strategies, requirements, and policies aligned to the AXA XL vision. The role of the Senior EBX developer is to support the implementation process of Location Master Data Management for projects and BAU with EBX MDM expertise. You will work on EBX design and implementation of the Match & Merge process to support Location referential data.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyze Business requirements and transform them into technical requirements - take the lead in requirements definition and clarification when appropriate.
- Validate the feasibility and estimate the complexity of the business requirement.
- Support the customers and other stakeholders in demand generation.
- Support Location MDM delivery team on design, development, user training, and operations with the EBX tool.
- Report progress and performance made periodically to the Team Leader.
- Consistent interaction with the Team Leader on any business issues.
- Regular interaction with key stakeholders and project sponsors to understand their needs related to the Master Data Management domain and provide solutions to the business.
- Ensure complete adherence to defined Service Level Agreements - productivity, turn-around-time, and accuracy.
- Perform the following main tasks:
- Design, Build, tests, and user training for MDM Projects and BAU changes
- Share information with the business customer community.
- Support translating Business requests to EBX processes.
- Support MDM users' training.
- Data Quality monitoring.
- Support business processes for all segments.
You will report to the Division Lead.
What you’ll bring
- University Graduate with some experience in MDM process, data analysis/data initiatives, preferably in insurance.
- Experience in Java & J2EE, SQL Server, HTML, Java Script, CSS, jQuery / Angular JS, Testing framework.
- Experience in SQL Server (SQL Server 2008 and greater) and TSQL development
- Robust understanding of data analysis, data and process modeling, and relational database concepts
- Knowledge of REST API, Web Services, XML, SOAP, integration middleware such as Mule Soft, etc.
- Knowledge of Tomcat, Web Logic, IBM Web Sphere build process.
- Knowledge of the Insurance Industry and Party Data.
- Good knowledge of MDM implementation process.
- Hands-on expertise required with the EBX MDM tool.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.
- Excellent analytical and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented, able to analyze and identify discrepancies.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Client service attitude & experience.
- High level of data input accuracy.
- Excellent Analytical skills.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $75,500 to $149,000 USD.
Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience, and location.
