Job DescriptionResponsible for leading the IT teams that support imaging applications across radiology, cardiology, and other service lines that utilize imaging. This role ensures effective implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of technologies that enable high‑quality patient care and efficient healthcare operations. Success requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.
Principal Accountabilities- Manage IT staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
- Oversee the annual IT budget and ensure cost‑effectiveness.
- Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Select and purchase new and replacement hardware and software when necessary.
- Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems so that they operate effectively.
- Generate performance reports for operating systems.
- Assure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Evaluate technology risks to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, mathematics, healthcare informatics, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading and supervising diagnostic imaging or testing initiatives.
- Experience with Epic Cupid, Radiant or relevant procedural module (Lumens, Optime, Beaker, Orders).
- Experience with CVIS, EKG, PACS, RIS, voice recognition, OB US, endoscopy.
- Cloud implementation and support experience.
- Knowledge of AI for business support functions and clinical imaging purposes.
Master's degree in CS/IT or related field.
