About this RoleYou are an experienced Sales Director who will drive client engagement, pipeline development, client demos and solutioning to bring Accenture’s Knowledge Layer asset to clients. You will work within Accenture Products and Platforms (APP) and focus on industries such as Life Sciences, Banking/Finance, Telecom and Consumer Goods.
Responsibilities- Own the sales plan and meet and exceed sales targets for APP’s Knowledge Layer asset.
- Learn Data & AI Architecture and AI-enabled digital core fundamentals to originate and engage with clients in this emerging-tech space.
- Plan Go-to-Market strategy and align accountability with internal and channel stakeholders.
- Manage sales campaigns, leveraging domain expertise to close opportunities and grow profitable revenue.
- Cultivate relationships with C-level, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to position software as key to unlocking value and enable transformation.
- Build trust with prospects and clients, identify challenges and offer tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Product Management, Professional Services and Engineering teams to ensure client needs are met and sales origination and pursuits are successful.
- Engage with Ecosystem partners to align sales messages, resources and shared opportunities.
- Stay informed about emerging trends within market segments, ecosystem and technologies, competitive landscape and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 3 years of software/asset sales with a proven track record of exceeding sales metrics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product domain, industry, or ecosystem.
- Minimum 3 years experience with tech modernization for Fortune 2000/large enterprises.
- Minimum 3 years experience developing and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives.
- Minimum 5 years previous experience designing and executing go-to-market strategies and campaigns.
- Advanced negotiation skills to navigate complex financial and operational requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; if Associate’s Degree, minimum 6 years work experience.
Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 25% to 75%, depending on client needs and business priorities.
