** Underwriting Technician
** in our

This position will support the North America Energy Team to support our Underwriting Team and service insureds. The individual is expected to actively develop their knowledge and understanding of the fundamental skills and functions of the underwriting support process, underwriting process, and risk analysis.

**** What you’ll be doing:
*** Partner with underwriters in the end-to-end processing of new and renewal business
* Evaluate new and renewal submissions against prescribed criteria to determine completeness; documents outstanding items and include them in communication to an underwriter for review.
* Assists in the follow-up and securing of outstanding items from the broker.
* Prepare documents for rating
* Analize loss information and prepare summary documentation
* Review policies and forms for accuracy and completeness.
* Communicate regularly with brokers to assure customer service
** What you’ll bring:
*** 3-5 years of related underwriting support experience (preferably Energy)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
* Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills;
* Strong analytical and organizational skills;
* Team player willing to contribute to the whole of the company
* Must demonstrate the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision
** Salary Range:** $55,000 – $80,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
