As SVP of Client Services – Medical Communications
, you will be a key driver of client partnership and agency excellence to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of our medical communications practice. You’ll lead annual brand and tactical planning with both clients and internal teams, ensuring flawless execution and seamless collaboration across disciplines. You’ll mentor the next generation of account talent and help shape the future of our clients and the agency.

You will sit at the intersection of science, creativity, and technology, ensuring we deliver cutting-edge medical education, publications, and stakeholder engagement.

What You ll Do:
  • Strategic Advisor and Client Relationship Management:
    Proactively identify strategic opportunities and propose ideas to existing clients; drive business through strategic and creative recommendations; work with brand teams on brand goals/objectives/strategies; ensure materials communicate core brand strategies; understand products, competitors, market dynamics; attend client meetings; ensure adherence of agency/client process; ensure accuracy of client communications; maintain client satisfaction and cultivate client-agency relationships; champion digital-first thinking, integrating AI tools, data science, and emerging technologies;

    set the standard for medical communications in the digital era.
  • Client Partnership & Growth:
    Serve as trusted advisor to senior clients; lead high-level engagements; expand partnerships; identify opportunities to incorporate AI insights, real-world data, and digital tactics.
  • Internal Team Lead:
    Manage and mentor junior account team members; lead internal kickoff meetings; oversee day-to-day workflow; develop brand/tactical plans and briefs; foster innovation and AI/digital fluency.
  • Financial Management:
    Develop and track SOW budgets and finances; manage annual SOWs, monthly financials, hours tracking, and client accruals.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical agency experience
  • 7+ years in Medical Education or Medical Affairs
  • Supervisory and mentoring experience
  • Proven success leading product launches, including accelerated approvals
  • Experience integrating digital strategies, AI tools, and data-driven insights
  • Strong client relationship management and problem-solving skills
  • Self-reliant and able to operate independently
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Experience managing large, multi-million-dollar accounts
  • Experience using Veeva and/or Ziflow
  • Financial management with invoicing and reporting
  • Experience hiring, developing teams; strong people management
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and innovation
