  • Act as key liaison between UW and Operations to disseminate new (or evolving) product and procedure information, answer questions and coordinate or handle rush requests.
  • Lead development and testing in launch of new products and/or sub‑verticals.
  • Troubleshoot system errors and act as first line of support for system processing questions, working with the team to achieve resolution, advocating and escalating as necessary.
  • Motivate team members through positive communication and feedback to ensure exceptional service.
  • Lead special projects at the request of, and serve as backup for, operations management.
  • Assign appropriate resources to assist with UAT as necessary.
  • Challenge status quo – always seeking ways to improve efficiency while positively impacting CX.
  • Lead the performance review and professional development process of your team to ensure quality production, growth, retention, and professional satisfaction.
  • Various administrative tasks including but not limited to approving of timecards if/as necessary.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of commercial rating experience with all lines of business.
  • In‑depth knowledge of underwriting support systems, procedures, documentation, applicable insurance products and sub‑verticals within commercial property and casualty sphere.
  • Excellent communication, planning & organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills to identify, gather, and organize information and provide recommendations.
  • Innovative spirit to actively seek out new opportunities and to improve processes.
  • Ability to create a positive team environment and successfully coordinate the work activities.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Excel and Word.
  • This is not a remote position. The role is required to be onsite on our hybrid work schedule in our Morristown, NJ office.
