Come Work With Us! MUMC Is Hiring a Full-Time Property Manager
Morristown United Methodist Church is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on full-time Property Manager to care for our historic church property and help support the many ministries, community organizations, tenants, and people who use our building throughout the week.
This is a varied position for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, interacting with people, and making sure a busy facility operates well. No two days are exactly alike!
The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day care and maintenance of the church property and serves as the onsite coordinator for building and parsonage projects. The Property Manager works closely with the Senior Pastor, Office Manager, Unified Leadership Board, tenants, community groups, and outside contractors.
Responsibilities include routine building and property inspection and care; light maintenance and repairs; preparing spaces for worship, meetings, and special events; responding to the needs of tenants and building users; selecting and coordinating contractors and building projects; monitoring supplies, keys, parking, snow and ice response, and other facility needs; and communicating regularly with church leadership.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Three years of facility maintenance experience is preferred, along with the ability to perform minor building maintenance, manage multiple priorities, work independently with mature judgment, and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
Salary: $52,000
Status: Full time
