The Innovation Specialist will lead end-to-end global initiatives for new product launches — from concept to market — to deliver a scalable, winning innovation roadmap that drives revenue, profit, and market share for the brand.
Main Responsibilities- Support the planning and delivery of the brand’s long-term Global Innovation Roadmap (3–5-year horizon).
- Lead cross‑functional teams to develop new product ideas and create winning concepts to maintain a robust flow of new core insights and propositions that strengthen our base and fuel innovation.
- Translate consumer insights and category trends into actionable innovation concepts, product claims, and strong artwork packaging.
- Drive ideation workshops and co‑creation sessions with consumers, agencies, and internal teams.
- Lead concept testing, claims validation, pack validation, and sensory/product testing with insight partners.
- Own NPD projects from concept to launch working closely with the cross‑functional team (Science Hub, Finance, M&S, Legal, Regulatory, Design, Procurement, Project Management, etc.) to identify the best solution for product, pack, and execution.
- Be accountable for the successful delivery of strategic initiatives through the business gate cycle and commercial targets. Manage timelines, budgets, and governance documentation in line with global innovation processes.
- Ensure consistency of innovation with brand architecture, positioning, and design principles.
- Define launch plans in coordination with the Brand Team and Zone Leads (NA, EULA, ASEA, LATAM, India) and post‑launch evaluation with actionable insights to build learnings into future plans.
- Identify renovation, commercial innovation, manufacturing efficiencies, and sustainability initiatives to drive brand growth and expansion.
- Prepare materials for internal reviews and senior leadership presentations to gain alignment.
- Track project KPIs (cost, GM%, gate timing, success rate) and post‑launch performance.
- Support continuous improvement of innovation processes and toolkits.
- Guarantee compliance with Sustainability KPIs.
- Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in Marketing or management (preferable).
- 5+ years of successful experience within a leading FMCG or another brand‑led organization.
- Experience in brand innovation and brand‑building roles.
- Experience working in a global or regional role.
- Strong bias for action, a high degree of personal accountability, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Track record of working cross‑functionally and leading projects.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable digging under the surface to uncover insights, reach logical conclusions and recommend actions back to the business in a compelling way.
- Fluent English.
