Atlantic Health System’s 1-year Nurse Residency Program builds a solid foundation for your nursing career through classroom, simulation, and unit-based preceptorship while focusing on the continuum of care.

Pay rate: $43.00 per hour.

• Non‑BSN graduates must complete a BSN within 5 years of employment.
• Participants must commit to 2 years of employment at Atlantic Health System.
• Official transcript and two letters of recommendation from nursing instructors required during interview.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. BSN or equivalent preferred; all ASN must complete BSN studies within five years of start date.
• License/Certification: Valid NJ Nursing License or valid Compact Nursing License required upon hire; BLS certification required.

  Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant experience preferred; completion of a nursing extern program preferred; dedicated Education Unit (DEU) and immersion students preferred.
