Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey. The Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) will be working in our 24-bed Critical Care unit and will be integral in the pre/post operative care of cardiac surgery patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team that includes Surgeons, Intensivists, NPs and PAs. The ideal candidate will have procedural-based experience including but not limited to central line placements, arterial line insertions, and will initiate appropriate interventions and orders and appropriate diagnostic tests.

Critical Care experience is preferred.

• Work in the 24-bed Critical Care unit and be integral in the pre/post-operative care of cardiac surgery patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team that includes Surgeons, Intensivists, NPs and PAs.
• Demonstrate procedural-based experience including but not limited to central line placements and arterial line insertions; initiate appropriate interventions and orders and appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Critical Care experience is preferred.

• Graduated from an accredited APN/PA program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Previous cardiovascular surgical patient management experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years Critical Care experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
