Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, Cardiothoracic Surgery Program at Morristown Medical Center. This role is ideal for self-starters and will give an NP or PA the opportunity to be part of a growing and well-established group with a robust staff.

The Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) will be working in our 24 beds Critical Care unit and will be integral in the pre/post operative care of cardiac surgery patients in collaboration interdisciplinary team that includes Surgeons, Intensivists, NPs& PAs. The ideal candidate will have procedural based experience including but not limited to central line placements, a-line insertions, and will initiate appropriate interventions and orders appropriate diagnostic tests.

Critical Care experience is preferred.

• Graduated from an accredited APN/PA program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Previous cardiovascular surgical patient management experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years Critical Care experience is preferred
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
