Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a large hospital setting specializing in high-risk pregnancies. This role requires strong assessment skills, clinical competences, and effective documentation practices to support patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and systematic assessments across all growth stages, from Pediatric to Geriatric.

• Deliver direct patient care, demonstrating knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures.

• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing processes and patient progress.

• Exhibit professionalism by understanding and following hospital policies and identifying areas for growth.

• Respond consistently to patients, families, and coworkers in a positive and courteous manner.

• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and ensure safe transfer techniques are utilized.

• Provide individualized patient care according to surgical procedures and anesthesia types.

• Prioritize and manage patient care responsibilities based on changing patient needs.

• Assess patient understanding of surgical procedures and include family members in teaching efforts.

• Support timely completion of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders based on the patient's health status.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience in large hospital settings.

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

• Active RN License.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
