Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and compassionate Weekend LPN to join our dedicated team at Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing, a leader in post-acute care and rehabilitation services. As a Weekend LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, weekend after weekend.
About the Role:As a Weekend LPN, you will work within our 5-story, state-of-the-art facility, featuring an all-new TCU Unit with telemetry care and a dedicated subacute floor with mostly private suites. You will have the opportunity to work closely with leading area physicians to provide the most cutting-edge post-acute care and rehabilitation services to individuals facing cardiac, orthopedic, renal, or pulmonary issues.
Responsibilities:- Provide skilled nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and conducting vital signs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor and document resident progress, reporting changes and concerns to the Team Leader or Charge Nurse
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in quality improvement activities to continually improve care delivery
- Current LPN/LVN license in the state of New Jersey
- Ability to work a weekend schedule, rotating shifts and on-call as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
