Job DescriptionPerform thorough assessments across pediatric to geriatric populations to support patient care delivery.
Provide competent direct patient care in support of the healthcare team, demonstrating emergency equipment knowledge.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of nursing care, including patient education and progress notes.
Adhere to professional practice standards, policies, and procedures, identifying areas for professional growth.
Respond professionally and courteously to patients, families, and coworkers, promoting a patient-centered environment.
Follow safety protocols, including Universal Protocol, patient identification, and safe transfer techniques.
Assess patient reactions and understanding of procedures, individualizing care based on diagnosis and anesthesia type.
Critical InformationShift: 7p - 7a, high acuity SDU, ICU experience required.
Work environment:
On-site at Morristown, NJ.
Ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards. Remote work is not applicable.
Education/Licenses NeededRegistered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;
Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
English (Speak, Read, Write).
