We are seeking a Sales Manager who can coach and develop a small outside sales team while carrying a personal sales quota (“carry a bag”). This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone with proven success in staffing sales and a passion for driving growth in the engineering, automotive, and IT sectors
.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and grow a local outside sales team
    :
    Hire, train, mentor, and retain top talent.
  • Coach for success
    :
    Provide desk‑side coaching, ongoing training, and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Drive personal sales
    :
    Maintain and grow your own book of business while supporting team performance.
  • Create and implement sales strategies
    :
    Develop account plans and market expansion strategies.
  • Expand client relationships
    :
    Build strong partnerships with decision‑makers and hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams
    :
    Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated for successful candidate delivery.
  • Track performance
    :
    Use metrics and dashboards to measure team and individual success.
  • Exceed goals
    :
    Drive new placements, revenue growth, and gross profit targets.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required).
  • Proven experience in staffing sales and/or managing a sales team in the technology staffing industry.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals and building client relationships.
  • Ability to train and coach salespeople in prospecting, cold calling, consultative selling, and job order qualification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High integrity, ethical standards, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Recruiting experience in staffing industry is a plus.
