Quality Engineering Lead

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web‑based applications. Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java/Python. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and derive test scenarios. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools. Manage test cases, defects, and execution tracking in JIRA and Octane. Design and optimize SQL queries for backend/data validation. Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives).

Ensure quality standards, reporting, and continuous improvement of automation processes.

This role requires being onsite with the client 3 days per week in Jersey City or Pennington, NJ. This role also requires 5 days away mandate per quarter by the client.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in QA and test automation engineering
• Associates Degree or greater

• Strong hands‑on experience in Selenium Web Driver for automation
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Experience with test management tools (Octane, JIRA)
• Expertise in automation framework development (POM, BDD, Data‑Driven, Hybrid)
• Experience in script development and execution across test cycles
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with Playwright automation framework
• Exposure to Gen AI adoption/use cases in testing (test generation, self‑healing scripts, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
