- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical soundness and safety.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including handling luggage and providing accessibility assistance.
- Provide clear and professional communication to passengers regarding schedules, safety procedures, and points of interest.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and professional environment on the coach.
- Plan routes and navigate using maps, GPS, and trip itineraries.
- Handle passenger emergencies and administer basic first aid if necessary.
- Represent the company with a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times.
We are seeking a skilled and customer‑focused Motor Coach Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a superior safety record, a passion for service, and the ability to represent our company with the highest level of professionalism. You will be responsible for transporting our valued clients on various charters, including tours, corporate events, and airport shuttles.
Essential Duties and Qualifications Safety & Operation- Safely operate a 40+ foot motor coach in various road and weather conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections (checking tires, lights, brakes, emergency equipment, etc.).
- Strictly comply with all Hours‑of‑Service (HOS) regulations and maintain an impeccable driving log.
- Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements.
- Greet passengers warmly and assist with luggage loading and unloading.
- Provide a narrated tour or relevant information about the route and destinations.
- Address passenger inquiries and resolve any issues with patience and professionalism.
- Ensure a comfortable onboard environment by regulating temperature and announcing rest stops.
- Maintain the coach’s interior and exterior cleanliness.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and tour guides to adhere to schedules and itineraries.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including trip logs, incident reports, and fuel receipts.
- Present a neat and professional appearance in accordance with company uniform standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL Class A or B with Passenger (P) and Air Brake (X) endorsements.
- Clean driving record and successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to handle luggage and assist passengers.
