A seasoned leader in commercial roofing in Morristown, TN, is adding a Senior Corporate Accountant who will own the fundamentals that keep a $250M commercial roofing powerhouse running clean, accurate, and audit-ready. This role drives monthly close, reconciliations, GL accuracy, insurance and debt schedules, vendor receivables, business license tracking, and hands‑on support across a fast‑paced, PE‑backed environment. They’re looking for a sharp, organized, self‑starter who thrives in the details, communicates clearly, and enjoys being the person the team can count on.

• Post and review journal entries with accuracy and speed
• Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts (insurance, debt, equity, etc.)
• Maintain account balance schedules and vendor receivable schedules
• Track and support the filing of business licenses across regions
• Support the company’s credit and purchase card program
• Prepare and deliver accurate month‑end closes
• Assist with insurance audits, financial audits, and required documentation
• Partner closely with the Regional Controller and the broader accounting team
• Identify gaps, improve processes, and strengthen reporting accuracy

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, experience considered in place of degree
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through
• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced environments and meet deadlines
• Self‑starter who takes initiative and owns their work
• Construction accounting experience preferred
• Experience with Foundation, Data Forma, or other construction ERPs preferred
