Portfolio Manager, Commercial Analytics & Forecasting

West Leland Group is partnering with a generic pharmaceutical manufacturer to hire a Portfolio Manager with strengths in commercial analytics, forecasting, and product management. This role drives insights that shape product strategy, pricing, launch readiness, and business decisions across Commercial, Finance, R&D, and Operations.

Location: Morristown, NJ (Hybrid)

• Lead commercial analytics including competitive insights, pricing trends, and product performance reporting
• Own forecasting models and revenue projections supporting demand planning and commercial decision‑making
• Drive quarterly and annual planning cycles including re‑forecasting, variance analysis, and collaboration with Finance
• Translate product and portfolio performance into recommendations for growth, risk management, and prioritization
• Provide data‑driven decision support across Commercial, Finance, R&D, Operations, and Executive teams
• Serve as internal subject‑matter expert across assigned product categories and therapeutic areas
• Develop or support materials including product sheets, catalogs, customer presentations, and launch assets
• Coordinate launch readiness ensuring alignment across supply, pricing, and commercial planning groups
• Conduct market and competitive assessments including Orange Book intelligence and expected entry timing
• Monitor launch performance, track KPIs, and capture insights to strengthen future commercial execution
• Lead analytics initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, or related field;

• 5+ years in pharmaceutical commercial analytics, forecasting, product management or related experience ideally in generics
• Experience with datasets such as IQVIA, First Databank, Prospecto Rx, or similar sources
• Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to translate data into insights and action
• Proficient with MS Excel and Power Point

• Direct impact on product management, forecasting accuracy, and long‑term commercial success
• High visibility across Marketing, Commercial, Finance, R&D, and Executive leadership
